Fob Day is also known as Mismatch Day! Islanders are well-known for their mismatch style on a daily basis (it’s a compliment). Rep your island by wearing an Islander T-Shirt and throwing on any mismatched accessories that fit your style!
Online Workshop. Anti-Asian violence in the U.S. is not new. This presentation will depict an abridged history of anti-Asian violence in this country, demonstrate how these historical events parallel with recent events, and show how people can be effective allies to the Asian American community.
A movie is chosen by the Presidency to perceive the island struggle and also the experience a Pacific Islander is facing. The movie will touch base on issues that have impacted the lives of islanders so to keep individuals aware of what the Pacific is currently experiencing.
There will be a draw on who will win the best island wear, so dress up beautifully and showcase that island flavor. A judge will be chosen by the Presidency, perhaps a former President of the PISA club. Club Officers are not able to participate but should dress up as well.
Each Officer will be given an island and they will touch base on the current issues these islands are facing, or they have faced. The closing social will also be held during this last event to close and celebrate all Pacific Islanders
