Empowering women in the workplace
Netflix star Jan Broberg will share her harrowing experience. Abducted in Plain Sight is the twisting, turning, stranger-than-fiction true story of the Brobergs, a naive, church-going Idaho family that fell under the spell of a sociopathic neighbor with designs on their twelve-year-old daughter. This will be a 45 min speaking engagement with a 15 min Q&A after
The Women and Family Academic Engagement club (WFA) and the Women’s Resource Center are sponsoring a service project in honor of Women’s History Month. The goal of this project is to collect items not normally donated to shelters. These items will benefit survivors in shelters. Requested donations: Items can be donated at the drop boxes located in the browning 2nd floor, student affairs in the Gardner, Hazy advising, and HCC advising. Items can also be brought to the Women’s Resource Center or at any of the events.
